Difference between coarse thread and fine thread
Coarse thread can be defined as standard thread, while fine thread is relative to coarse thread. Under the same nominal diameter, the number of threads per inch is different, that is, the pitch of coarse thread is large, while that of fine thread is small. In general, the screws we usually buy are coarse threads. Coarse thread is characterized by good strength and interchangeability, large thread rising angle, convenient disassembly and assembly, and there are standards for comparison. When marking coarse thread, it is not necessary to mark pitch, so most customers use coarse thread.
