How to distinguish stainless steel material?

For example, if non professionals want to distinguish the material of stainless steel hexagon screw, they can use ordinary stainless steel identification liquid to test. We can drop a few drops of liquid to the stainless steel hexagon screw to check whether the screw changes color. If it turns dark red, that’s the material of SUS201. If it doesn’t change color, that’s the screw of SUS304 or SUS316.
If you want to further distinguish 304 and 316, you can use more accurate liquid medicine. Generally, SUS304 uses Ni8 liquid medicine. If the liquid medicine turns red, it is determined to be made of stainless steel 304; SUS316 was identified by NO2 solution. Similarly, if it turns red, it’s 316, otherwise it’s not.
