Industry knowledge:
The difference between high strength screw and common screw.
There are high strength screws and ordinary screws. From the name, we can know that the performance of the two screws is certainly different. Generally, the load that high-strength screws can bear is larger than that of ordinary screws of the same specification. Ordinary screws are generally made of Q235 (A3), while high-strength screws are made of 45 ° steel, alloy steel (such as 20MnTiB, 35VB) or other high-quality materials, The strength is improved.
The surface difference between the two is the strength of materials. In terms of raw materials, high-strength screws are generally made of high-strength materials, including 45 steel, 40 boron steel and 20 manganese titanium boron steel. Common bolts are usually made of Q235 steel.
There are many kinds of strength grades of screws, among which high strength screws often have two strength grades of 8.8 and 10.9, and most of them are grade 10.9. The strength grade of ordinary screws is much lower, generally 4.4, 4.8 and 5.6( 8.8s and 10.9s are special for steel structure).
