Benefits of passivation of screws
During passivation, stainless steel screws will be immersed in nitric acid and water solution. When removed, a layer of oxidation film will be formed on the surface of stainless steel. If the screws are exposed to the external environment without cleaning, they are likely to rust due to embedded impurities. Therefore, in order to get better corrosion resistance and more beautiful appearance, many stainless steel screws will be passivated.
